From May, 1980 to July, 1986, Will practiced law in Lafayette, Louisiana, as a sole practitioner and with the law firms of Hughes & Grant and Bob Broussard & Associates. During that period, he had a general practice with a special emphasis on oil and gas.
In July, 1986, Will joined the firm of Haik & Minvielle. He became a partner in 1992. The firm's name was changed to Haik, Minvielle & Grubbs in 1998. His case load primarily involves litigation of complex, comprehensive casualty claims, including automobile, highway and railroad hazards, maritime and premises liability. Other types of litigation consists of medical malpractice and governmental liability. About twenty percent of his practice is devoted to the general practice of law.
Will is a member of the Iberia Parish and Louisiana Bar Association as well as the Louisiana Assocation of Defense Council and the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association. Since 1988, he has served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Louisiana Department of Justice. In 1989, He served on the Governor's Commission on Medical Malpractice. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Born on July 29, 1955, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He is married to the former Patricia Ann Moresi of Jeanerette, Louisiana, with three children, Matthew, Alexandra, and Samantha.
